Manchester United are not shying away from looking at all the options and are making desperate efforts to make ends meet before 10th of July
in terms of transfers. The point is to avoid the end days of the summer
transfer window and avoid promoting the air of doubt looming over the
next season's team. United bosses are adamant to make decisions which
would stand up against, what is being labelled as a 'small time'
replacement for SAF - the signing of David Moyes.
But only if football was guided by emotions and heart perhaps united would have successfully signed CR7 by now unfortunately that is not the case. Paris Saint Germain as well as Monaco are willing to shell out £85 million for the Portuguese star, that kind of money isn't even a distant possibility for United. Another issue is both the PSG and Monaco are willing to pay a salary in excess of £300000 which will help CR7 maintain the title of highest paid footballer in the world, which CR7 is evidently very fond off.
Another way out is going after Gareth Bale but this one is an even more tough bid given the Tottenham manager is not very fond of letting his players go to united (United had a very keen interest in Luka Modric in the last summers transfer window who went to Madrid from Spurs last year) and biggest issue is Madrid bosses are after Gareth Bale and they are the last set of people United would try to out bid in European football.
The problems doesn't end there for United, the doubt surrounding rooney's decision about staying at United is huge and even if plans to stay - David Moyes and Rooney doesn't share best of relationships. Air has it Patrice Evra will also leave and needs to be replaced quickly in an efficient move.
United will have to come up with answers to all these questions and real fast. Some out of the world love towards united (from CR7) and huge situational luck can land them the star. Apart from that Robert Lewandoski and Barcelona mid fielder Cesc Fabregas transfers are of equal importance at this point of time given the uncertainty. Some big decisions need to be taken to compete with the world's most expensive team (Manchester City) and Chelsea riding on the 'Special One' (Mourinho) wave.
