AS Monaco : The seven-time French champions, the finalist of 2004 UEFA Champions Legaue who were in the second division last December when Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev took over them. The Russian, who is ranked 93rd on the Forbes list of billionaires, has acquired 66.67% of Monaco. Rybolovlev had promised to invest at least 100m euros (£84m) over the next four years.

"I am a passionate football fan," said the 45-year-old.

"I think this club has enormous potential. I hope it can now realise this potential, both domestically and in Europe."

Since the arrival of Dmitry Rybolovlev at Monaco, Everyone expected Monaco to be the next PSG of world football. And it did not take them long to prove everyone right by already signing James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho and Radamel Falcao for an combined fee in region of €120 million and more to come.
