Jose Mourinho always likes the limelight.Doesn’t he?
As he did it again by calling himself the “Special One”.He does it time and
again with the footballing world.
After leaving Real Madrid and moving back to the
bridge,Mourinho is all set to give the red devils a good run for their
money. With David Moyes under all sorts of pressure to keep the winning streak
alive and moreover fill the boots of the “SIR”,it will be a contest to watch
out for.
Mourinho after leaving Madrid claimed that Cristiano
Ronaldo knew it all.He said that the player would not grow anymore if he did
not change his attitude. This was when,he had left Madrid.Going back in time, one
would realize how contrary the statements were when he was a part of the
world’s richest club.Probably that’s Jose Mourinho for you. The potuguese found
his initial limelight when he guided Porto to an unforgettable champions trophy
conquer.
The very next season he was signed by Chelsea and he
helped the blues triumph in England for the next two years. After, coming to
Madrid people had their own speculations regarding the clash of big names in
the spanish capital and with the arrogance of Jose Mourinho some predicted it
to be true. However,Mourinho silenced all the critics by making three of the
biggest transfers of footballing history:-Kaka,Benzema and ofcourse CR7.The
same year Madrid won the league and probably that was the icing on the cake for
Mourinho.
Come next year, and Mourinho missed a trick
here.Barcelona, had already taken a 15 point lead by by the time Madrid had even
come out of their last season party mode.Mourinho started making strange
decisions and the people at Madrid made their voices heard. He left out Iker Casillas
and Pepe out of the starting eleven and played strange selections. The people
that follow football like a religion can’t be kept out of the game for long and
the directors at Madrid made their decision.
After leaving Madrid Mourinho called himself “The
Special One” as he thought or rather believed that he is the coach that every
club wishes to have.He said in an interview, that it is not Madrid who beat
Barcelona this season but it was Jose Mourinho’s men.
I really wish Mr.Mourinho all the luck because even if
after having all the backing of Roman Ibrahmovic,Chelsea fail to win a single
competition this year, then I am afraid it would be loud and clear that football
is a team game and not which any “Special One” can control from the sidelines.
