Juventus have been temporarily knocked back in their effort to sign Real Madrid's out of favor striker, Gonzalo Higuain.
The Argentinian forward has fallen down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabau and has gone to the extent of saying that he will not be a Madrid player next summer, with Arsenal and Juventus the suitors.

However, Juventus' attempt to seal the deal early suffered a blow when Real told the Italian giants that they would have to wait before Madrid had secured a new manager.
Juventus's director general, Beppe Marotta, said: "Real Madrid have told us that HiguaĆn is not for sale and that no decision will be taken before the new coach arrives."
