Pepe not for sale, insists Perez

Spain: Florentino Perez has revealed that Pepe will not be sold in the current transfer window dismissing the reports linking him from a summer transfer. He stated that the Portuguese international is still an important member of the squad and they would like to retain his services.
The 30-year-old lost his starting role at club to Raphael Varane this season, leading
to speculation that he want a move away from the club in order to get regular first team football.
Nevertheless, Perez has made it clear that Pepe ,who has a contract till 2016 will not be sold in near future.

Madrid aim to keep the centre back-. "Pepe is not for sale. He is going nowhere this summer," the Madrid president told Onda Cero.Perez then went on to reflect on Jose Mourinho`s departure and stated that he would have stayed if Madrid would have won the champions league, he added that he sees Carlo Ancelotti as the best replacement.

"If we had won the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, Mourinho would probably
have stayed put," he added. "Ancelotti? He would fit in very well at Madrid. He is a good people manager and a great coach."

The current Paris Saint-Germain coach is the most likely option for becoming Real Madrid's manager next season, and they will hope the french side will let him go.
